The MyUI+ system will go down for nightly maintenance at 9:30 p.m. instead of 10:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2.

ALERT | 3.17.2021 | 10:42 a.m.
Regular state unemployment claimants reaching their Benefit Year End (BYE) date will need to film a new claim if they remain unemployed and need to continue receiving benefits. To check your BYE date or file a new claim, log into your MyUI+ account.

The MyUI+ system and automated phone systems will be temporarily unavailable between Friday, 3/12, 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. Saturday, 3/13 for system maintenance. Claimants will not be able to file a claim, request payment, or have access to their online account during this time.

Some email providers, including but not limited to Yahoo and AOL, are experiencing significant delays in delivering emails from the MyUI+ system for password resets. Unfortunately, this is an email provider issue. If you have not received an expected email message, please check your spam folder over the next few hours. We ask that you not submit multiple requests to reset your password and wait for your email notification.

Our systems have not yet been reprogrammed to address anyone on PUA, PEUC or SEB. After that reprogramming is complete, claimants will be able to request payment for any back weeks owed. We will notify these claimants when the system has been reprogrammed for the latest extensions. Learn more >

 

ALERT | 1.5.2021 | 4:30 p.m.
As we prepare to transition to our new MyUI+ benefits system, our existing systems will be unavailable starting today until Sunday, January 10. This includes MyUI Claimant, the PUA system, the phone line for requesting payment, and Virtual Assistant functions which require claim access. All services are expected to be restored by Sunday, January 10, at which time the new MyUI+ system will be available.

 

ALERT | 1.4.2021 | 9:00 a.m.
To help prepare for our new benefits system, all REGULAR UI claimants were directed to request payment early on January 3rd (regardless of your scheduled payment request date). If you attempted to request a payment on January 3rd and received a warning about early payment requests closing your claim please disregard and continue with your payment request. If you received our email about making a payment request but are NOT on regular UI (Pandemic Unemployment Assistance/Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation) you do not need to take any action. We are not paying PUA/PEUC and will notify you with next steps.

On December 27, 2020, legislation extending and altering several pandemic-related benefit programs was signed into law. CDLE must receive guidance from the U.S. Department of Labor and reprogram our systems before we can fully implement the changes in the bill and begin issuing payments. ALERT | 12.21.2020 | 8:00 a.m.
The federal benefit programs introduced by the CARES Act, including Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), expire on December 31, 2020. By law, we cannot pay partial weeks, so the last payable week for benefits under these programs is December 26, 2020. We are awaiting Congressional action on the future of these programs and will post updates and email impacted claimants as we know more.

Unemployment Insurance self-service applications for regular unemployment claims, including online payment request, File a Claim, MyUI Employer, MyUI Claimant, the Payment Method selection application, Virtual Assistant, and the telephone interactive voice response service will not be available on October 22 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Customers will not have the option to get updates, view accounts, or request or make payments during this outage. Thank you for your patience as we improve our systems in order to better serve you.

Due to the Mother Cabrini Day state holiday on Monday, October 5 and the Columbus Day federal holiday on Monday, October 12, unemployment benefit payments will be delayed. Benefit payments normally issued on Monday and Tuesday will each be delayed by 1-2 days depending on your method of payment.

Our Virtual Assistant at the bottom of the page has been upgraded. You can now type “claim status” to check on the status of your claim, “reset PIN” to reset your unemployment PIN, or “cancel callback” to cancel your scheduled callback. Find more tips here.

CDLE is in the process of reprogramming systems to include the Lost Wages Assistance benefits announced by President Trump on August 8. No action on your part is necessary at this time. We will contact claimants directly with more information when these benefits become available in mid to late September. These payments will be retroactive to the week beginning July 26th.
