Be Wary of Scams

We’re continuing to closely monitor scams targeting Colorado unemployment recipients, and just this week, we’ve shut down multiple fake websites posing as MyUI+ login pages to trick claimants into entering personal information like Social Security numbers and passwords. Please be careful about clicking links in emails and text messages. Entering personal information like your Social Security number or MyUI+ password into a scam website will allow a scammer to take over your claim and intercept your benefits.

CDLE will never send you a text message with a link to log into your MyUI+ account. Whenever you are logging into a page that looks like MyUI+, review the address bar in your browser to make sure it shows the genuine address for MyUI+: https://myui.clouduim.cdle.state.co.us/Claimant/Core/Login.ASPX.

If you are unsure about any link asking you to log into your account, please disregard the link and instead access your MyUI+ account from the official CDLE website at ColoradoUI.gov.

Colorado Jumpstart

Don’t forget — there’s still time to take advantage of Colorado Jumpstart, a monetary incentive program designed to support unemployed Coloradans as they return to work. Colorado unemployment claimants currently receiving either state unemployment benefits or Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) benefits may be eligible to receive an incentive payment of $1,200 if they return to work before June 26, 2021.

Participating in Colorado Jumpstart is easy. If you’ve returned to work or accepted a job offer, simply answer yes to the “Have you returned to work” question during your weekly certification. You’ll then be presented with an option to opt in to Colorado Jumpstart. You’ll receive the first half of your incentive after approximately four weeks of employment, with the second half paid after approximately eight weeks of employment.

Unfortunately, claimants receiving Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), claimants participating in work share programs, and out-of-state claimants are not eligible to participate in Colorado Jumpstart. For more information, visit ColoradoUI.gov.

Work Share Update

Beginning on Thursday, June 9, we will begin removing erroneous overpayments which were established on claims for those claimants who are participating in their employer’s Work Share plan. This process will take several weeks to complete. If you have any questions concerning this, your employer with the Work Share plan can contact the Work Share unit for further assistance.

CDLE will never send you a text message with a link to log into your MyUI+ account. If you are unsure about any link asking you to log into your account, please disregard the link and instead access your MyUI+ account from the official CDLE website at ColoradoUI.gov.
