Layoff Services Provided

Rapid Response

We offer workforce services related to restructuring and/or downsizing your business. Services include, but are not limited to, consultation on layoff aversion strategies, onsite workshops for employees in transition, job placement assistance, and information on unemployment benefits.

Job Seeker Services

Workforce Centers also offer a variety of resources and programs for laid off workers. Contact a Business Services Representative at your local Workforce Center to find out more information regarding resources and services available to job seekers.

Responding to Job Separations

When an employee is separated from employment and files a claim to collect Unemployment Insurance Benefits, any employers listed on the claim are notified in their MyUI Employer+ account or via letter and are required to submit job-separation documentation.
