Employment Situation

Every month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases the national employment situation summary for the previous month. After this release, Colorado uses the data to analyze and compare its own employment trends against the national figures. Colorado then releases an employment situation summary for the state.

*The national and Colorado employment situation press releases originally scheduled to be released on October 3, 2025; October 17, 2025; and November 7, 2025, were not distributed due to the federal government shutdown.
