Media Advisory: Colorado Department of Labor and Employment to Host Another Unemployment Virtual Town Hall for Federal Workers on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

(DENVER) – The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE)’s Unemployment Insurance Division is hosting another virtual town hall to help Colorado’s federal workers manage their unemployment claims. The Department answered nearly 200 questions for more than 300 attendees at the last session on Friday, October 17. The recording, slide deck and Q&A from Friday's session are available on CDLE's Resources for Federal Workers page.

Wednesday's session will cover the unemployment claim application process, go over what laid off and furloughed federal workers need to know and share the various reemployment support available to all Colorado jobseekers.

WHEN:

  • Wednesday, October 22, 2025 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

WHERE:

  • The town hall will be held virtually over Zoom. Zoom space is limited, so participants are encouraged to join early. If capacity is reached on Zoom, the session will be streamed live on YouTube. CDLE will answer as many questions as possible from both Zoom and YouTube audiences.
  • Attendees must register in advance.
  • Members of the media are asked to R.S.V.P. to cdle_pr@state.co.us.
  • Closed captioning will be provided. If other accommodations are needed to participate, attendees must contact cdle_pr@state.co.us by 2 p.m. on October 21, 2025.
