Notice
12/5/2025: With the federal government back in operation, Colorado’s Office of Labor Market Information within the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) will release Colorado’s September 2025 Employment Situation on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 8 a.m.
Since no survey data was collected during the federal government shutdown, Colorado will not release an Employment Situation for the month of October 2025. The release date for November 2025 state labor market data is still to be determined. Updates will be published on LMI’s Press Release page of cdle.colorado.gov.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)’s revised release schedule following the government shutdown is posted on BLS.gov.

Annual Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS)

Annual Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI)
The annual Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries press release and related data for the 2024 calendar year will be available in December 2025.

Employment Situation
Every month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases the national employment situation summary for the previous month. After this release, Colorado uses the data to analyze and compare its own employment trends against the national figures. Colorado then releases an employment situation summary for the state.

**As of Thursday, November 13, 2025 the federal government passed a continuing resolution and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has resumed activities. Currently, there is no expected date associated with the release of BLS Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) nor state-related QCEW data. We will update this section as more information becomes available.
