LMI Press Releases and Schedules

On December 18, 2024, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) published a notice that they will temporarily suspend publication of labor force and unemployment rate data for Colorado and its substate areas. Revisions to estimates for 2024 and possibly earlier will exclude Colorado and its local areas.

Additionally, the BLS is suspending the release of the 2024 Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics data on April 2, 2025. 

Colorado will continue to produce and publish employment data related to Calendar Year 2024. From March 2025, further employment situation releases may be impacted. Due to this impact, we are unable to provide an annual schedule of releases for 2025, as we typically would. 

While CDLE and LMI continue to work closely with the BLS, there is no resolution timeline. Please subscribe to our news bulletins to receive email updates.

Per the notice above, we are suspending publication of our monthly employment situation press release starting with the January 2025 employment situation that would typically be released in March 2025.
