Stakeholder Meetings for Rules 1, 5, 6, 7

The Division of Workers' Compensation (DOWC) will host three stakeholder meetings for Rules 1,5,6, and 7. These stakeholder meetings will occur ahead of the formal ruling hearings. Each meeting is designed to be 90 minutes in length to discuss possible changes to the rules. Attending stakeholders are invited to bring proposals of their own for the rule changes. You must register to attend.

Please email Education & Outreach at cdle_dowc_communications@state.co.us if you have questions or feedback for a session that you are unable to attend live. Draft redline versions of each rule will be shared via email prior to the stakeholder meetings.

Session 1: Rules 1 and 5

This stakeholder meeting is scheduled for January 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MT. It will focus on potential changes to Rules 1 and 5. Register for the Rules 1 and 5 stakeholder meeting.

Session 2: Rules 6 and 7

This stakeholder meeting is scheduled for January 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MT. It will focus on potential changes to Rules 6 and 7. Register for the Rules 6 and 7 stakeholder meeting.

Session 3: Final Stakeholder Meeting

This stakeholder meeting is scheduled for February 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MT. Session 3 will provide another opportunity to discuss potential changes to Rules 1, 5, 6, and 7 before formal rulemaking begins. Register for the final stakeholder meeting.

Case Law Updates

Monthly on the Third Thursday at 12:00 p.m. MT 

There is no Case Law Update scheduled for December 2025. 

Case Law Updates (CLUs) feature Division of Workers' Compensation judges discussing real-life cases and legal issues. Free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are available.

The discussions and commentary should not be considered a policy statement by the Division of Workers' Compensation or an indication of how the presenters would rule on any future pending cases.
