DIME Physicians Make a Difference

A Division Independent Medical Examination (DIME) is a legal medical opinion sought by an injured worker or an insurer when there's a dispute about the date of Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) and/or the impairment rating. It aims to resolve disputes without going to court, promote resolution, and minimize legal conflicts. DIME Physicians serve on a DIME physician panel to provide an unbiased, independent medical examination.
