Provider Education Course Catalog
The Level 1 Accreditation program is designed to assist in understanding the administrative, legal, and medical role in the Colorado Workers’ Compensation system for all medical providers. Level 2 Accreditation teaches participants how to perform impairment ratings using the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 3rd Edition (revised).
The Quality Performance and Outcomes Payments (QPOP) course trains providers in documenting a patient’s functional progress, including the provision of a functional assessment and psychological screen using Division-approved tests.
Course Details and Deadlines
Serving as the entry point to the Division of Workers' Compensation's (DOWC) Accreditation programs, this course introduces the administrative, legal, and medical aspects of the Colorado workers’ compensation system. Certain providers can become Level 1 Accredited. Please check your eligibility by referencing the List of Providers Eligible for Level 1 Accreditation (L1A).
It is highly recommended that you register for the course as soon as possible. Enrollment is limited to 200 students per cohort and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't miss your chance to secure a spot.

Specifically, this course educates physicians in performing impairment ratings using the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 3rd Edition Revised.
Currently, Level 1 accredited physicians (MDs and DOs) are welcome to take this course.
