The Level I Accreditation program is designed to assist in understanding the administrative, legal, and medical role in the Colorado Workers’ Compensation system for all medical providers. Level II accreditation teaches participants how to perform impairment ratings using the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 3rd Edition (revised).
The Quality Performance and Outcomes Payments (QPOP) course trains providers in documenting a patient’s functional progress, including the provision of a functional assessment and psychological screen using Division-approved tests.
Course Details and Deadlines
Serving as the entry point to the Division’s Accreditation programs, this course introduces the administrative, legal, and medical aspects of the Colorado Workers’ Compensation system.
All medical providers are welcome to take this course. However, Level I Accreditation can only be awarded to MDs, DOs, chiropractors, dentists, podiatrists, PAs, and NPs with prescriptive authority.
